Need to Know

Watch for downed trees. Highly active wildlife area including Elk, Deer, Turkey, Bear and Mountain Lions. Rare to see the Bears and Mountain Lions but they both have been spotted this year.

Description

This trail starts at the rock stack trail marker intersection between Church Creek Trail, Beaver Mountain Trail. It is the least used trail at the intersection as it has been closed to motorized vehicles. The trails is relatively straight forward and easy to follow. It has a few steep small faces, but in general it's a nice easy ride though outstanding scenery.

You'll definitely feel like you're the only one that's ridden it all week (or month). At the end of the trail you have a real good chance of spotting elk herds. I stumbled upon about 40 of them when I mapped this.
