Dogs Leashed
Overview
The many different trails at the USNWC make this ride unique. While at first it might seem like an easy 32-mile ride, you still have to climb over 2,000 feet. Once you learn every trail at the WWC, this route will come in handy when you are doing shorter versions. Budget about 4 hours for this or under 3 hours if you have good endurance experience.
Description
While it might seem like a flat ride as miles start going by, the flatness will go away. While there is water and many bailout points, this ride is still somewhat challenging because of the miles that need to be covered.
This route also is 99% singletrack. Many have been known to do this on a singlespeed and fully ridged bikes. Either way, be ready to eat your enchiladas at the end of this ride.
