Description

Watch for a track that cuts back from the north side of the alpine pasture with chalets above Le Trétien. Descend through switchbacks to a crossing of the Gorges du Triège. There is a lovely walk on footbridges downstream through the narrow gorge if you have time for the detour.

On the other side of the gorge, continue contouring then dropping to Les Marecottes, then rejoin the Finhaut - Émosson - Martigny ride.
