Trail shared by Robb Green

A worthy climb where the reward is scenery that you'll not believe rather than a fast downhill.

Need to Know

It can be hard to find the cairn marking the turn off of Kibbles, but the trail itself is very easy to follow and is very well-built.

Description

Branching off of Kibbles-n-Bits in the Cowboy Trails System, this trail is an ongoing climb up the ridge to the south of the main Cowboy Trail System.

The trail is manageable most of the way, favoring gentle switchbacks over steep climbs until the very top, where the increased effort is worth the view up top. Take the trail easy and enjoy the amazing views of the Red Rock NCA.
