This is another of the many forest roads through the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) in the area. This one climbs at an easy, pleasant grade along the Laufbach stream for about 3 km (1.8 mi).

You'll cross the stream and then at the first intersection: right takes you into Loffenau or you can continue climbing, at a much steeper grade, along the Laufbachtal forest road. Laufbachtal dead-ends into Dreizielsteinweg. Right again takes you down into Loffenau or you can continue climbing to the left on Dreizielsteinweg.
