Description

The trail extension is great in both directions as it continues on the fun, yet rocky flow from the existing Elijah trail back through the woods. It finishes out on Forest Road 259 which you can take back to Forest Road 160 which will get you back to the trailhead. Another more fun option is to turn around and take Elijah back to connect with Ursus or ride all the way back to the original intersection with Coal Knob and Longhouse Trail.

One of the many big rocks at Jakes Rocks part way down Ursus trail. This is a somewhat steep hill into a nice turn or a nice drop feature

Climbed up from the end of Bald Eagle on the way back - too many grabbing thorns on that section. Next time with a machete.

Another well built and beautiful trail in the ANF. Enough rocks to be fun and technical but not over the top.
