Description

This trail has great views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains that comprise the Philmont backcountry, and the expansive plains to the east. This trail follows part of the historic Sante Fe Trail where bison, antelope, and mule deer are commonly spotted. The trail stays mostly snow free during winter, allowing for year-round riding.
