Need to Know

The trail passes through two gates on the east edge and enters a pasture, which is sometimes grazed by cattle. Be cautious/courteous around the livestock. Make sure gates are closed after you pass through.

It also passes through a disc golf hole in the north section. Signs indicate the beginning of the disc golf course along the trail. Beware of flying discs through this section.

Description

This loop can be connected with the Rio Inspire Trail and the Inner Oxbow Loop for a nice little after-work ride. The trail follows the outer edge of a naturally occurring "oxbow," which is teaming with wildlife - especially in the spring and early summer months.
