Description

The new Prairie Loop starts off of Adventure Road near the parking lot at the north entrance to Anne Springs Close Greenway. The Prairie Loop has been redesigned and now only shares a small portion of trail with the Old Prairie Loop.

The trail is almost exclusively singletrack now and after a short initial climb, descends for about a mile where it crosses the Old Prairie Loop near the end of Mill Pond. The trail then climbs steadily for a half mile then flattens out for about a mile of flowing singletrack that weaves its way through the treeline on the edge of the prairie. The trail pops out of the woods and connects to a short fire road which connects back to Adventure Road and the end of the loop.
