Description

The newly opened (2018) Acorn Creek Trail connects to the South Fork American River Trail at a metal gate one mile in. It follows the seasonal upper Skunk Creek up the canyon. From there, one can return downhill, or connect to other locations, near or far. The trail is wide and shared by bike, foot, and horse traffic.
