Family Friendly The main starting point for this trail is located at River Legacy Park, which has lots of amenities and open spaces for the entire family to enjoy.

Description

This trail is typically accessed from River Legacy Park. There is ample parking in numerous places throughout the park. You can also hop on this trail from a number of different neighborhoods that back up to the river. The path is wide and paved with plenty of room for all types of users. While the trail runs near many housing developments, you often forget their proximity as you travel through hardwood stands along the gentle waters of the river.

This trail sees moderate to heavy traffic, especially on the weekends, with the majority of congestion in the center portion between the park and River Legacy East. A large percentage of the trail is shaded, but it can get quite hot on sunny days as portions are fairly open.
