Description

The climb up from Perins Gulch Trail isn't too bad, just a bit steep with a few switchbacks. But once you make the ridge and start climbing Hogsback, it turns into a hike because it's just too loose and steep to ride. The decent down the other side depends on your trust in tires and brakes—it is rideable though!

God bless Durango for sanctioning such a rowdy line. Brutal climbing to heinous hiking, to an unbelievably steep ridge line.
