Description

You can start this trail from either Bramble Ramble or Hammock Hub. Starting from Bramble Ramble and going counterclockwise is easier because the first half curves gradually flow downhill and some are chewed up with exposed roots.

At the bottom, you transition to an incline that takes you to the connection with Hammock Hub where there is a picnic table, a port-a-potty, and a tool stand with an air pump.

The rest of Sweetgum Hill Loop is flat, fast flowing curves through rather open forest. If you go clockwise, the upper half going up the chewed-up curves is much harder on novice riders.

Start of Canebrake 8 - stay right, it's kind of hard to see.
