Description

Daniel's is now an official trail and has been 100% rebuilt and rerouted along with other trails in that portion of the canyon. It is now rated blue, lengthened and significantly improved overall. Trail is well marked with signage at every intersection and occasional maps.

Once you have passed the collapsed tunnel you'll go through a split hill and it is immediately on your left. This trail is very similar to Sesame Canyon Trail. It is a steep descent with tight turning, well-built switchbacks. In the first part of the trail, you'll encounter a big jump over a log and then nice banked corners with a few more jumps thrown in. Then you start winding through trees over various rocky obstacles all the way down to the stream below that has no bridge.

Daniel's Pass has been 100% reworked and rerouted. This trail description is no longer correct. At best the trail is blue now. Flowy and loose.

Upper portion is no issue, fun... some minor ruts. Lower section is pretty nasty with significant, deep ruts and very loose. Be on game...
