For now (Dec 2017), this trail and a small lollipop loop at the end are completed and open for riding to give you a taste of what's to come. The lollipop at the end consists of a technical downhill trail followed by an additional 1,000 feet to climb out back to Raging Ridge. Total mileage on the downhill/climbing lollipop is about 6.0 miles.
Raging Ridge is similar in character to the nearby Master Link over at Tiger Mountain. It climbs pretty unrelentingly to the top where it meets with No Service and Return Policy.
From the parking area off of exit 27 (Winery Road), you'll have to climb a forest road to get to the start of this trail. The climb is generally not technically difficult with some easier rooty sections and well-bermed turns. It's clearly designed for easy climbing and possible that it will become the uphill-only trail (similar to Master Link) when the trail system is complete. That would be somewhat of a travesty though as the long, continuous downhill is a hoot to ride with all the bermed turns. Consider that the trail is also uphill, so expect some uphill traffic and remember that uphill traffic has the right-of-way.
At 5.3 miles, near the top of the climb, there are several clear-cut areas. From here, you can see Mt. Rainier on a clear day.
