Description

This is a doubletrack used to access Chimney Rock and Rattlesnake Creek. It is reached from Downieville via a 10-mile climb up Saddleback Road, which departs Highway 49 about half a mile west of town. The road starts out as an easy climb, then becomes rougher as it nears the trails. There are some steep, loose, and rocky descents that require caution.
