Description

This is a trail for the serious adventure rider. I only had time to cover the bottom 0.7 miles of the trail. That section alternated between nice duff covered singletrack and boggy meadow sections and any downed trees had been cut out.

What will you find beyond? I'm guessing downed trees, lost trails, more bogs, and probably some sweet singletrack.

The trail starts on Princeton Road. The two miles of Princeton Road between the Copper Lakes Trailhead and Boulder Creek Trailhead is serious 4x4 territory. The trailhead for Boulder Creek itself is not well marked. Follow what looks like an ATV trail down hill to your right.

At the bottom of the hill, you'll hit a creek crossing and the trail turns to singletrack. A fork here has the Boulder Creek Trail going off to the left and Boulder Lakes Trail going to the right. We found the lower section of Boulder Lakes unrideable.
