Update

Come experience some nice new flow, extending Catamount Trail by nearly a mile.

Overview

Similar to the rest of Catamount Trail, bikers and pedestrians are welcome, but horses are not allowed. Please inform equestrian riders if you encounter any, and notify park officials as well.
Family Friendly: While not a great trail to skill-build on during the busy weekend hours, this provides a great spot for kids to practice riding berms when it's uncrowded.
Dogs: Off-leash

Description

A fun addition to the Catamount Trail, the trail here is smoother than the upper reaches of the main trail, with good flow and nice bermed corners. It's easy to run laps, too!

The trail is currently open to traffic in both directions (as is the rest of Catamount Trail), but this may become a one-way trail in the future, and likely should be. It's best to access from either Lookout Mountain Road or Lost Creek Trail.
