Family Friendly Watch the rafters and kayakers on the Ocoee River (if they're releasing water) along this easy path which parallels the river.

Description

Rhododendron is an easy, flat trail along the Ocoee River. If they're releasing water from the dam, you can watch the kayakers and rafters negotiate the many rapids in this stretch of the river. There are a couple spots where boardwalks hang out over the river where the terrain was too steep to put a trail on land.

This is a popular trail with walkers, especially when the river is running, so watch around blind corners.

A river runs through it... or in this case, it doesn't because they've turned off the water from the dam
