This road turns off of Northfield Road #303
after about a mile, then heads east for two miles before turning north and coming across the east face of Ormes Peak.
To summit Ormes Peak, some recommend climbing the south face as the easiest approach, although no trail exists. At mile 2.5, there's a small trail that splits off to the left. It can be ridden for a while, but again, no formal trail exists from this turnoff either. The road continues to wrap around for another half-a-mile past Ormes Peak toward Devils Kitchen.
