Description

This trail circumnavigates a large part of Smith Rock State Park. It's generally easy but has the occasional technical rock outcrop and some sand. Stay left at the two junctions with the Mesa Verde Trail. At the second junction, the River Trail ends where the Summit Trail begins its climb to a ridge.
