Description

This is commonly ridden as the return leg of the Red Tail Roost Loop. The trail is primarily a singletrack climb with plateaus that follow the ridgeline between the Escondido Ravine and the Agua Dulce ravine.

If this leg is ridden as the outbound leg, it's mostly downhill with sections that level out and mellow the descent along the way.
