Update

Fast start, rooty corners, off camber root wads, narrow singletrack with exposure. Excellent ride!

Description

• Closed to biking from October 15 to May 15.
• This is a multi-use trail. Be aware of other users and yield appropriately.
This trail starts at the parking lot at the top of Mary's peak parking lot or at the orange gate on Woods Creek Road. Many people climb Woods Creek road to East Ridge Trail and then down North Ridge Trail. Climbing North Ridge is one of the toughest climbing challenges in the valley and few can climb it without dabbing a foot or walking sections.

Descending this trail will reward those who have the determination and skill with many exciting corners, swooping lines and technical successes. A true Oregon shared-use gem of a trail. Please be courteous to hikers and be aware that they may be around blind corners. Smile, wave and pass on good vibes for their hike, say "thank you" when they pass.

TH not marked well at all. Talked to one of the guys that maintain the place and they are supposed to put up some signs. With that said the ride was definitely LEGIT! Sep 22, 2013
