• Closed to biking from October 15 to May 15.
• This is a multi-use trail. Be aware of other users and yield appropriately.

Description

Great climbing or descending trail, fewer roots than North Ridge Trail, less stress and a great introductory trail to the temperament of North Ridge. Exposure exists in a few sections of trail and caution should be exercised when both climbing and descending.

Try to climb East Ridge and not walk or dab a foot. Climbing this trail is a challenge that will give you a lifetime of goals for many a rider. Please be aware that many hikers frequent this great trail - give right of way to them and be aware on blind corners.

View from Mary's Peak Parking lot. Hazy day. Corvallis, Oregon in foreground, Cascade Volcanoes in the background. Ride up the road for a phenomenal 360 degree view on a clear day
