Description

This is one of the easier and smoother trails at Walnut Creek Park. It's marked with a purple diamond and connects between Chimney Trail East and Wilkin's Way.

This trail isn't very steep, but it is great to carry speed down through its flowing corners. It's also a nice little climb to get away from the usual roots and rocks on the rest of these trails in Walnut Creek. For beginner riders, it's great to link up the lower part of Chimney Trail and where Colleen's Corners connects to Wilkin's Way.

Recently, a wild fire burned through all of the mountain laurels and underbrush. The trees themselves survived leaving the trail shaded but with great visibility with the underbrush now gone. Hate to call a wildfire a good thing, but it is a positive outcome!
