A fun and fast ride; easy enough for beginners and a few spots that make it a challenge.

Description

This one has a nice and flowing start through the Millerton Day-Use area before heading along the lake for some fun and easy singletrack. Once you round the big point and start to go back towards the marina, there are some steps and rock obstacles, but nothing crazy that can't be easily walked around. These areas are fun for beginners to try a few sections of rocks and drops. The trail ends at the Millerton Marina where you can turn around or enjoy a dip during the summer. Overall, a short, fun trail close to Fresno, and a good option if you don't have a ton of time.

Out and back a bit past the marina at Winchell Bay. Well kept trail, easy but some fun sections scattered in the trail. Nice views of the lake. 7.8mi

Great trail for anyone looking for a beginner trail or that mellow evening/morning ride. The climbs aren't more than a few pedal strokes and can help you learn the proper gearing if you're just starting out. There are a handful of small and short technical sections that offer just enough spice to the ride. Great views of the lake and you will never find yourself far from people and rest stops.
