“An asphalt trail from Highway 6 and Patterson to the Cullen Park complex north of Saums Road.”— Bryan Dotson
Family Friendly This is a quiet, paved trail with convenient parking for motor vehicles.
It passes by the Cullen Park Groeschke complex located south of West Airport. There is a concrete low-water crossing just west of the Groescke complex that is almost always passable.
Two of the major road crossings, SH6 and Barker Cypress, have traffic lights with pedestrian crossing buttons. The trail also crosses Groeschke Road with very poor sight lines with stop signs on the trail; be very careful at this crossing.
There is parking at each end and at the Groeschke complex. Smash and grab vehicle burglaries are common in the area.
