This ride offers an "easier" introduction to the area with "limited" climbing compared to other rides in the area. Although the total climbing is limited, the climb is fairly steep.

From the town of Selfranga near the entrance to the Vereina Rail tunnel, the trail climbs steeply through farmland before entering the Ronenwald (Ronen Forest). Once in the forest, the grade becomes more manageable. As you exit the forest, you'll have views of the Landquart River Valley and the surrounding mountains along with a well-earned descent to look forward to.
