Description

This is a perfect trail for beginners. It's short, smooth, beautiful, and has some shade. Climb up from the village parking lot. It's a gentle climb with stunning views of the coastline all the way up.

You'll pass a cute little "take a book, leave a book" library. Stop and turn around at the high point or you'll end up on the Lower La Costa Fire Station Trail. Enjoy the view, snap some pictures, and then enjoy a fun but easy descent back down.
