An easy route stretching from Papoose Flat to Squaw Flat.

Star Fangled Nut

Overview

This trail may be impassible in winter due to snow.
Features: -none-

Description

This two-track road leads from Papoose Flat to Squaw flat as a portion of the Papoose Flat Loop. This remote, jeep road is primarily a sandy surface two-track with a generally downhill trend, although it climbs back up and over the eastern shoulder of Andrews Mountain before dropping back to the trailhead.

If taken in reverse, starting from the trailhead, this trail involves one steep and one moderate climb. Other routes in the area provide more fun ways of ascending.
