Description

From the north end, this trail is an old jeep road for about 3.2 miles to a meadow/campground. In the warmer months, the jeep section can have high grass.

Continuing past the meadow is great singletrack. Heading south, after the meadow, you'll get to a split that will be the spur up to Little Schloss. This is a little out-and-back overlook, leave your bike at the base as you'll need all four limbs to scramble up.

After this, descend down typical steep, rocky GWNF singletrack toward the parking area near High Head and FS Road 92.

Taken in reverse, riders will have to overcome a punishing climb. It's better to take this one as mapped instead.
