Description

This is the "official" trail from the Rinconada parking lot. It climbs a steep ridge to the summit. Along the way, there is a little bit of riparian oak and chaparral. It's also the primary climbing trail for the trails on the Rinconada side of the ridge. You might want to warm up in the parking lot, as this trail gets started with a short but steep climb, and continues on its way up for a little over a mile.
