Sand is not so fun to ride, so head to the base of the hills to stay up out of it.

Description

This trail rides just above the sand-filled, high-speed, motorway that is Sand Hollow Creek. Though not marked well, you can maintain a great line sticking to the singletrack trail as it cuts along the bottom edge of the hills.

Starting at the junction of North Perimeter Trail and West Perimeter Trail, you can veer off on Little Gem Service Road or spike that heartrate on one of the three ridge trails that connect: Hear No Evil Ridge Trail, See No Evil Ridge Trail, or Speak No Evil Ridge Trail. Or just keep riding until you come to East Perimeter Trail and once again meet up with North Perimeter Trail.

There are hundreds of trails in the area and all are open for you to explore. Keep in mind that trails dropping into drainages are typically very sandy while ridge riding is usually on hard pack silica sand.
