Overview
This shuttle run winds through the towering pines of Bogus Basin, passes the iconic Stack Rock, and wraps up with a fun, flowing singletrack.
Description
Starting from the Bogus Basin parking lot, head back down Bogus Basin Road. After a few hundred yards, keep an eye out on the right for signs pointing to the
Eastside Trail—it drops off the road and into the trees. It starts out wide and mellow, but about a mile in, you'll want to hang a left to stay on
Eastside Trail. The signage is usually pretty clear.
Eastside Trail is a blast—fast, flowy singletrack with some fun technical bits. You'll see a few spur trails along the way, and they're all well-marked.
As you cruise through some old-growth forest, look for the Sweet Connie trail off to the left once you get to the
Stack Rock Trail—it overlooks Boise and is a killer spot for photos and soaking in the view.
Dropping into Sweet Connie, lower your dropper post—it gets steep and loose with some sketchy rock sections. Ride it out and you'll finish back at Bogus Basin Road. If you're lucky, the World's Best Corndogs food truck might be there waiting for you!
