Overview

Newton's Sand Creek Bike Path is a relaxing trip through the city with a few historical interpretive sites along the North Newton section of the trail around Bethel College.

Description

This ride connects the downtown area of Newtown to Bethel College in North Newton. Along the way, read about some of the history of the area at several well-built informational markers.

You can park and start virtually anywhere along the route; it connects the college, three parks, a skate park and many businesses.

One thing to note, when the river is high, the path underneath each major street will most likely flood.
