“A great section of trail in the Lovell Gulch recreation area featuring fun, flowing singletrack.”
— Ben Stewart
To reach this trail, start at the Lovell Gulch trailhead parking lot. Ride up the Lovell Gulch Trail
until you meet Rampart Range Road
. Turn left and ride for ~0.5 miles to a small pull-off on your left. The singletrack trail will start here (at your 11 o'clock) with a quick descent. The trail is not marked with signs, but is well defined. After a very steep uphill climb and following another short uphill section. The trail will continue to descend and connect with the Lovell Gulch Trail
. You can follow this downhill to the stream where you started another climb. A local MTB club is currently doing trail maintenance to upgrade this good hiking, biking and horseback area.
This is a great section of trail in the Lovell Gulch recreation area. Flowing singletrack through aspen and pine trees, along a small stream with a few steep and loose areas about 2/3 down the trail. This trail is best ridden from top to bottom, but for a great workout you could ride this uphill.
