Description

From the Glider Point Trailhead Parking, head west up hill to the Glider Point. At the Glider Point, you get good views west to the ocean and if the weather and wind are good you'll find several gliders circling about the hills. In the distance, you may even see some hot air balloons.

From there, continue up the mountain and stay to the left at the junction to meet up with Miner Ridge Loop. The trail the the right may be closed at times as it can get washed out and is very steep, leading straight up to the top of Black Mountain.
