A remote singletrack with terrific twists, turns, and views that is fun in either direction.

Overview

Access not recommended on BLM roads following rain or snow.

Description

This area is the other side of nowhere. You have to want to get there. There are no services for 50-70 miles in any direction, but this trail is well worth the trip on well maintained dirt/gravel roads.

This is not a place to be in wet weather, however, as the roads would be like grease on glass. There is great dispersed BLM camping at several locations with easy on/off the trail and access roads.

The trail has almost constant turns and up-and-downs. It features some rock ledges, but few over 12". The trail tread is made up of loose sandstones slabs with some small slick rock areas mixed in.

See utahmountainbiking.com/trai… for detailed access directions.

Definitely easier than the blue/black rating. More like a green/blue

Great dispursed camping along route. Minimal facilities however. No water. One outhouse on western end of trail. Easy ride on roads to either end of trail, then slight downhill to northern-most part of trail. But, and easy, slight uphill if riding SB. Jul 27, 2016

Rode this as an out and back to the 8.2 mile exit point. Loved this ride. Great views. Trail flowed nicely but had regular smallish rock obstacles and gardens which made you think about how to approach each corner and obstacle to keep the flow going. Some exposure to edges and ledges but not overly dangerous as long as youre sensible. Wouldnt take beginners / non confident people on this trail. Sep 1, 2017
