Upper section past the gate closed from 11/1 - 3/1 for big game migration.

Currently, the trail is completely ripped up for construction activities west of Shooting Range.

Description

This dirt access road takes you up from Whistling Pig AKA Shoots & Ladders, to Shooting Range, Upper Bovine Nirvana, Powerline Connector and eventually to Knecht Loop Trail #7. You'll do most of the climbing in the first 1.2 miles and then get treated to some incredible ridgeline views.

Be warned, the first 1.2 miles are extremely steep so if you don't like granny gear climb challenges definitely avoid this one or take it for a return ride.
