Overview

This trail has everything a beginner rider needs to be introduced to, such as roots, rocks, off-camber, jumps, berms, and creek crossings.

Description

This ride starts above the Hard Times Trailhead. From the trailhead, ride your bike back up the road southwest about 300 feet to the smaller parking lot on the right. Head down the Homestead Connector, which is a nice, fast downhill.

From here, turn left onto Homestead #333. After 0.6 miles, turn left onto the Deerfield Loop #335. Take Deerfield Loop #335 for close to a mile then turn left onto Pine Tree Loop #336.

After a fun descent, turn left onto the Explorer Loop #337. Once you complete the whole loop, you are brought back to the Pine Tree Loop #336. From here, turn left.

At the end of this trail, you are put out onto a paved road. Turn left and go straight across the intersection. Go up the hill and on the other side is where you can try to get the top speed of the day. Keep following the road back to the Hard Times Trailhead.
