Description

A tight, twisting trail reminiscent of Pisgah National Forest. There's a waterfall, Stair Step Falls, near the entrance at the intersection with Turkey Gut trail. However, the falls cannot be accessed and are difficult to see. There are rhododendron tunnels at a few places on the trail making it one of the few evergreen spots in the trail network.
