The Post Canyon Recreation Area is a multi-use trail network formed of Hood River County property and a patchwork of State Park, USDA Forest Service, and private land. The area is also an ongoing tree farm operation, so be aware of potential closures. Expect traffic in both directions and yield to hikers and equestrian riders.

Description

Hybrid(140) is another long ATV/Moto trail running along the ridge from Riordan Hill Road all the way to the Post Flats Staging Area. The trail is largely comprised of narrow singletrack with shallow berms. Most of the trail is mild-moderate roots and rocks; there are some small jumps designed for motos. Beware of the mid-summer dust; this trail can have several inches in certain sections. Hybrid is used both as a descending and ascending route, so be aware, especially in the more exposed areas. Overall, a great mellower shuttle route or connector between the many MTB trails along the way.
