Description

An old truck trail that connects with Santiago Truck Trail and ends at Old Camp. While there aren't many obstacles, the steady grade makes this trail a long grunt of a climb.

Dan you are describing the Joplin singletrack, and are spot on with your description. However, Joplin Truck Trail is very different. Much easier and is actually rideable up as well as down, unlike the namesake singletrack. Old Camp actually connects the singletrack to the truck trail. May 19, 2016
Rick Gerardi Ah - my apologies. Looking at the map I thought you'd connected the MD to Old Camp (the Joplin singletrack). I think of this as "Cadillac." May 19, 2016

Dan Oakland You should ride the singletrack and add it as a Featured Ride on this site. I would but I told myself the last 3 times I'd never ride Joplin singletrack again. This time I mean it. ;-) May 19, 2016
