This trail is best ridden in one direction from the intersection of the Rollercoaster
Trail down to Skull Canyon
Each of the expert rated South Shore Canyon trails have their own challenges and are worth the time to explore, especially if you like steep, rocky and technical riding that rewards speed and aggression. There are plenty of alternate lines that offer progressions lap after lap. When the rest of Colorado is under a winter blanket of snow, come here to keep your skills sharp and a smile on your face!
Consider linking together a series of canyons starting from the red gate access point at the top of the Rock Canyon
The Free Ride Trail and the other trails in the canyons are short, but riders are able to link together a route that would offer many miles and a couple of hours of steep, technical riding. Combine the canyons with some of the more cross country-style trails in the area to make for a great day of riding
