The Anadarche Trail is a beginner to intermediate level trail that is mostly singletrack with some hiking-style steps on the south side, periodic rock gardens, and a few short and steep sections. Overall, it's probably the least advanced of the trails at Lake Murray.
The southern end starts off of the
Buckhorn Trail just a little ways in from a parking area off of Cisco Road. Once you start on the trail, there are many different options you can take to connect with other trails. Stay left at most intersections to stay on the Anadarche Trail (I say most because there are a fair share of unmarked trails). Most official intersections are marked with yellow carsonite markings with some trail names written in sharpie.
There is a nice wooden suspension bridge with a bench about 0.75 miles in.
The north end of the trail sits just over 5.0 miles away near an intersection of US-70 and OK-77S (at the intersection of OK-77S and Field Trail Road).
