Family Friendly A winding path that kids would love to ride.

The lake is owned by the City of Wellington and they require a day pass or yearly pass for trail use. Permits can be obtained at the City Administration Building, the Lake Maintenance Building or at one of two permit drop-boxes located at the Lake Maintenance Building and near the east restroom.

Description

Sidewinder snakes through the woods and will help improve your cornering skills! The trails can be ridden as one continuous loop or three separate loops; they're not directional, so watch for oncoming bikes. The soil is sandy loam and drains well when it rains. There's one spot down by the lake that gets a bit muddy, but rest of the trail should be good in most weather conditions.
