Description

This forest road starts at a small parking area at the West Entrance off the main highway TN 297, which bisects Big South Fork NRRA. It continues as the paved Bandy Creek Road at Bandy Creek visitor center where there is a large campground. Because it connects the main visitor area in the center of the park, it gets good maintenance and you can expect a smooth ride. Assuming you've brought fat tires, you probably want to use the alternative West Bandy singletrack which roughly parallels the road for much of its length.
