Description

This loop includes the way-fun whoop-de-doos on the Southeast side of Big Butte and cuts through the amphitheater on the North side. Either direction is fun; it's short, so you might as well do it both ways!

On the Southern portion of the loop, North to South along the gentle sloping downhill by the fenceline is the preferred direction as it tends to be a little less traveled by hikers.
