This park offers a loop around Carey Park golf course with a path travelling north along the bank of the Arkansas River and Cow Creek to Rice Park at the northern end of the trail.

There are several playgrounds along the trail, which recommends this area as a family destination. Additionally, riders looking for a quieter ride can use the whole trail as a 7-mile route to get away from traffic.

The path connects many neighborhoods to the splash park, baseball diamonds, playgrounds, Hutchinson Zoo and golf course.
