Description

Big Mesa trail is the jewel of the Nile of this ride. Take your time, stop to take pictures, go slower, and LOOK UP! Enjoy the scenery of this incredible ride. Sure, the trail is awesome and real buttery, but take your time and enjoy this one.

The old rebar bridge has been replaced with a wide, easy wooden one.

Stopped to talk with a rider here this morning, between heavy breaths and in a thick Puerto Rican accent he tells me- "Mountain biking here is like, it's like a work of art, and you're riding through the middle of it!" Yes Amigo, it certainly is. Jul 4, 2016
This section of the Navajo Rocks trail system is absolutely stunning, on par with the best scenery and riding Moab has to offer. Due to the solid bedrock geology, there's not much engineering to be done; so this section is more natural than much of the rest of the area trails, which are heavily parked out. Too bad it's so short. Nov 30, 2016
